Get ready because classes are up for 2014! And Alt Channel has a major change this year! We are going to be holding our monthly Alt Channel classes all on the same day. Each month will have a different theme and the attendees will sign up for the whole day. There will be one classroom and we will just roll all day long, going from class to class. Other than that, the classes will run the same way they always have.
February’s theme is “Start a Blog: Blogging 101.” This month’s set of classes is all about the beginner of beginning bloggers, and includes some of you who might not even have a blog yet. Learn about how to start a blog, beginning editorial calendars, what you need to do to start your brand on social media, tips and tricks for making your site spectacular, and more. Join our classes and learn from our best Alt Channel teachers. They’ll help you start off on the right foot.
March’s theme is “The Business of Blogging: The Next steps for the Intermediate Blogger.” Maybe you’ve been blogging for a while and you are ready to take the leap from hobby to blogging as a business. Discover the skills that will help you take your blog to the next level. Learn about PR on a budget, growing your readership, how to pitch to brands, and more. Join some amazing bloggers who have been-there-done-that as they share their secrets of success.
In April we are thrilled to have Justin Hackworth host a Photography Online Workshop. Refresh your skills and gain some new ones with Justin in a variety of classes.
