Remember the riveting presentation from the women behind Every Mother Counts at Alt in January? We hope you’re still feeling inspired to join the cause and we’re delighted to partner with EMC in May to celebrate Motherhood Around the World. To help us celebrate, we’re asking you to take two minutes to do something to promote motherhood. That’s less time than it takes to check your Facebook feed and it will be a lot more satisfying. If you’re in need of some ideas, here’s a list right here to get the wheels turning.
If you’d like to support EMC even more, help spread the word by letting us know about the day you were made a mother. Maybe it was the day you birthed your first born, a day you made a difference in a child’s life, or the day you were asked to be a godparent – we want to hear about it! In 200 words, simply share your experience and you will have the opportunity to win a ticket to Alt Summit Summer or Alt Summit Winter in Salt Lake City. Simply:
1. Post your mother themed story in May
2. Add the phrase #Alt Summit believes every mother counts at the top or bottom of your post
3. Send a link to your post to erin@altitudesummit.com
One winner will be randomly chosen each Friday from the entries. That winner can choose a ticket to Alt Summit in June 2014 or January 2015. Yay for moms!
