Design plays a huge role in determining whether brands, sites, and publications succeed or fail. Examples of good and bad design surround us. Yet we may not understand what makes a design attract us (or alternately repel us). In our July Alt on Topic workshop curated by Laurie Smithwick of LEAP Design, the fundamentals of good design will be revealed and you will learn basic Photoshop and Illustrator techniques for applying that design in your work.
We are offering four of our most popular design classes in a live half-day workshop July 17, 2004 from 9:00AM PT/12:00 PM ET to 1:45PM PT/4:45PM ET. In addition to learning skills you will be able to apply immediately, you will be able to interact with and network with your fellow workshop attendees. Many friendships and collaborations have resulted in connections past attendees have made. Sign up today and refine your brand and site.
If you do not own a copy of Photoshop or Illustrator, before class sign up for 30-day trial licenses. Follow along as Mike and Alma Loveland demonstrate tasks commonly used in online content creation.
What You Will Learn
