Style or visual branding helps us form first impressions. When we land on a site our eyes take in everything in those first quick glances. Whether consciously or not, we begin to make assumptions based on font choice, color palette, white space, and more.
Online style and visual branding conveys professionalism or a lack of it. A minimal color palette that is consistent across headings, props, and attire leaves one impression. Posts with poorly lit or unintentionally blurry images leave a different impression with visitors.
Join us Wednesday September 3 at 9 AM PT/12 PM ET on Twitter for an online discussion about online style and visual branding. Over the course of the hour we will define what style means to us, what elements we may have overlooked, and more. Follow the conversation by searching for the #AltChat hashtag on your favorite Twitter client and participate by answering questions posed by us (be sure to follow @AltSummit on Twitter) and including #AltChat in your tweet so that everyone can see. Include #AltSummit as well to have your tweet land on our home page.
