It is easy to stand out in person. As we enter a room, our eyes scan for differences. Online it is a little harder to stand out. If you want to get noticed online, start by doing these four things:
- Begin with a reader in mind. In her interview with Monica of Smart Creative Women, Liz of Say Yes talks about how to imagine someone you are comfortable talking to and write to them.
- Publish original content. Melanie of You Are My Fave asked a few bloggers exactly what original content means.
- Be authentic. Mariah of Oh What Love! shares four ways you can represent the real you on your blog.
- Actively develop your voice, not someone else’s. Karen of Chookooloonks provides seven tips from avoiding the comparison trap to practicing seeing to making life happen.
