Now’s the perfect time to start thinking about your goals for attending Alt Summit. Are you traveling to Salt Lake City for the connections with other social media influencers and creatives? Are you looking to learn new things? Are you hoping to be inspired and return home invigorated?
At Alt Summit all that can happen and more. But not at the same time. So, how do you avoid becoming overwhelmed with all the sessions, networking opportunities, and more? The answer is by limiting yourself to a couple of goals. What those goals will be are different for each us. Also, recognize there isn’t a one size fits all checklist of what you should be doing between now and the conference.
If it’s your first time attending Alt, start getting to know the sponsors, the speakers, and your fellow attendees. Connecting online ahead of time can help calm your nerves. I’m a huge introvert so following and engaging on social platforms really helps me come with topics to chat about when we meet face to face.
How do you prepare for conferences?
