On Friday June 12th, Alt Summer attendees will have the option to explore beautiful Salt Lake City with a group of fellow attendees led by a tour guide. Sign-ups for the tours will be available during the conference, but we wanted to give you a heads up of what to expect so that you can plan and pack accordingly.
Will take a group of 12 by foot on a customized fashion tour, where she will give personalized fashion tips and advice. This tour will take approximately two hours – spending around 30 minutes at each store. Reachel plans on giving each of the attendees a piece of their fashion profile at each location and will include a cheat sheet so that guests remember their personalized fashion tips.
Will take a small group on a “Great Salt Lake Patisserie Tour” where they will hit up the best dessert shops. They will also practice styling and take pictures along the way, both inside and outside of these “insta worthy” shops.
As a certified bra fit specialist, Courtney will take a small group for a personal bra fitting and consultation followed by lunch at the Copper Onion.
Will take a group on a walking antiquing and thrifting tour. The tour will include a list of items that work well for photo styling in the form of a scavenger hunt. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of what to look for while shopping for props, how to use them in styling, and photo examples taken with their phones.
Will take people on a quick walking tour to search for inspiration in the unexpected. The group will look for specific inspirational elements, photograph them, and then have a short and simple lesson on watercoloring.
Will lead a tour that takes advantage of Utah’s best I-can’t-believe-I-found-this-thing-at-that-price spots. Participants will be picked up at the Grand America and head out to the Overstock Outlet Store to see if they can find any treasures. Then, the group will head to the Sundance Outlet and Nordstrom Rack in Sugarhouse and finish with lunch at Taqueria 27 up on Foothill, before dropping everyone off back at the Grand.
