This is the third roundup post in celebration of all the projects that came from coLAB. You can find out more about what coLAB is here, which teams won here, four season-inspired posts here, and healthy living posts here.
Family is most definitely an evergreen topic. We all came from families, have experience with families (good or bad), and look for ways to educate, overcome, and celebrate the family bond. This next group took that theme and produced thoughtfully creative pieces that will stand the test of time.
Artiness Strong and Beth Allen began working on a children’s book called The Adventures of Nappy Tornstockings. The words are filled with emotions and the illustrations are stunning. We can’t wait to see this book come to life!
Kimani of V for Vadge and Jennifer of Just JP opened up a series of insightful conversations around raising multicultural families. From looking at American sex education and Island cultures to stepping back to understand how deep heritage runs. Their backgrounds are different but their support and love for family is the same.
Annie, of Twelve Walls collaborated with sisters Nell and Maggie of Hi Little One by creating illustrations to be used for the most adorable children’s line called Fruits and Veggies. We are so proud of this project and can’t wait for you to check it out!
Eden of The Road to the Good Life and Sonia of Mixed Up Clothing engaged in a thoughtful conversation about diversity. Raising kids while running a business is not always easy, but when diversity is celebrated around every corner it sure is worth it.
We have two more roundups heading your way, so keep an eye out for those, along with an exciting announcement coming soon!
