Earlier this week we talked about goal setting for a business retreat, conference, or event that you might be attending in the near future. But we also wanted to mention that you should keep an open and flexible mind when it comes to what you might consider a retreat, conference, or event.
We want everyone to come to Alt Summit (especially since this is the last one at The Grand America)! But we are also so proud to see our Alt Alumni utilize the connections they have made to gather together in smaller settings. Here are just a few.
Meet Make Do – These girls connected with Bing and met during Alt Summit 2013, then they reconvened in Palm Springs for a weekend full of creating, styling, and doing!
Little Retreats – From wreaths, lettering, mobiles, and yoga Jane of See Jane Blog hosts little retreats to entertain, inspire, and create.
Eat Drink Create – Lexy of The Proper Blog partners with sponsors to host in-person afternoon sessions.
Search for Your Awesome – Alison of The Alison Show traveled around the country inspiring others to find what they love to do and celebrate that.
Instagram Meet Up – We love that Jeran of Oleander and Palm invited people for a brunch at a local coffee shop to share tips and tricks for great Instagram photos and meet each other in person!
So there you have it, five different ways to encourage connections from Alt Alums!
